Delia Milliron has been a part of innovation from almost every angle. But starting this week, Milliron embarks on a new challenge. She is the incoming chair of the McKetta Department of Chemical Engineering, an interdisciplinary department that boasts undergraduate and graduate programs ranked in the top five in the U.S. She succeeds outgoing chair Thomas Truskett, who served in the role for eight years and brought outstanding vision and stability during his tenure.

Thomas Truskett Appointed Chair of McKetta Department of Chemical Engineering
Austin, Texas-Thomas Truskett, the Paul D. & Betty Robertson Meek Centennial Professor, has been appointed chair of the John J. McKetta Jr. Department of Chemical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin.
Truskett began his new position within the Cockrell School of Engineering Jan. 15.
