Melinda Heidenreich Wins ChE Staff Spotlight Award

 

Executive Assistant, Melinda Heidenreich, has been awarded the latest ChE Staff Spotlight Award.

Melinda joined the department in July 2016, as the Executive Assistant to the Department Chair and is also the Administrative Manager for the department. Melinda’s contributions to the department and the university have been tremendous and her selflessness, attention to detail, pleasant demeanor and overall commitment to excellence are just a few of the many qualities mentioned by her colleagues and the faculty.

One of the nominators said, “Melinda is going above and beyond to improve the department. She gets pulled in a lot of different directions, but always manages to provide helpful information and support for our operations. She is well-deserving and long-overdue for this recognition.”

Another nominator noted, “Chemical Engineering, the Cockrell School, and UT Austin are much more effective because we have Melinda on our staff.”

“It is incredibly rewarding to work alongside this wonderful group of people. I am inspired each day by the amazing and important work done in our department,” said Melinda.
