Lizzie Miller Wins ChE Staff Spotlight Award
Lizzie Miller has been awarded the latest ChE Staff Spotlight Award. Lizzie joined the department in 2007 and has played an essential role in helping us to achieve excellence in our research and teaching missions. She is currently a senior administrative associate to Drs. George Georgiou and Adam Heller.
Lizzie’s dedication, thoughtfulness and problem-solving capabilities are just a selection of the many outstanding qualities mentioned by her nominators of this award.
“What sets her apart is that she actually cares deeply about the research ongoing in the group as well as each one of us,” one nominator said. “She gets excited learning about our studies.”
“Many things I have accomplished at UT Austin were only possible through the support from Lizzie, and I believe her work, as a result, has definitely helped the department advance its research and teaching missions,” another nominator said.
“I am greatly honored to receive the Spotlight Award and to join past recipients who I have long admired and respected,” Miller said. “I feel very fortunate to work in such a dynamic and productive department.”
