Melinda Heidenreich Accepts Role as Texas ChE Executive Assistant
Melinda Heidenreich has accepted our offer to become the next executive assistant of the McKetta Department of Chemical Engineering. Her first day in this role will be Monday, July 11th.
Current Texas ChE executive assistant, Karen Eikner, will retire in August after 21 years of dedication to the university.
Heidenreich has more than 13 years of managerial, administrative, supervisory, human resource and budgetary experience at UT Austin, as well as extensive knowledge of faculty-specific efforts in recruiting, promotion and tenure. She is presently a financial analyst for the Environmental Sciences Institute. Her track record at UT Austin also includes service in complementary positions in Biomedical Engineering, the Population Research Center, Rec Sports, University Health Services, and the McCombs School of Business.
