Texas ChE Grad Students Win Net Impact, ExxonMobil Energy Bowl
A team of Texas ChE graduate students won the Net Impact and ExxonMobil Energy Bowl, hosted for the first time by the McCombs School of Business on Oct. 22.
Chemical engineering students Abigail Ondeck, Krystian Perez and Sean Wood, along with geological sciences student Jonathan Major, placed first in the competition after answering a series of questions about energy sources, efficiency and projected trends in energy use. The event’s participation was broad, including other engineering, natural science and MBA students.
The Energy Bowl was followed by a networking hour, offering a great opportunity for students to network with other students, ExxonMobil employees and UT Austin alums working in the energy field.
