AIChE Interviews Brian Korgel About His Professional Progress Award
AIChE talked with Brian Korgel about his Professional Progress Award lecture entitled “At Least 1,000X Thinner Than a Human Hair.” The presentation discussed how advances in nanomaterials synthesis and processing are creating new opportunities, as well as new challenges, for chemical engineers. His talk also described what is unique about these “products of chemistry” and how they have the potential to change people’s lives, specifically his recent work on energy harvesting and energy storage applications.
