Research Area: Engineering biology to produce biomolecules, fuels, and pharmaceuticals.

Why I chose to study Chemical Engineering: I wanted to save the world (or at least make in impact with what I do).

My advice for incoming Freshmen:
Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there–the worst that can happen is a few minutes of internal/external embarrassment.

Best spot on campus: The Skyspace on the SAC rooftop.

Three things most people don’t know about me:
1. I have about seven “favorite” colors.
2. I am obsessed with writing/drawing utensils.
3. I smuggle a banana out of J2 every time I go.
