Assistant or Associate Professor- Electrochemical Science and Engineering

The University of California (UC), Berkeley and the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) seek applicants for an assistant or associate professor position in the area of electrochemical science and engineering beginning in the Fall 2012. This position is jointly funded through the UC Berkeley campus and the Batteries for Advanced Transportation Technology program at LBNL. We are seeking creative candidates who show extraordinary promise and/or accomplishment in research and teaching. Research plans can be broad but a focus on the application of electrochemical principles toward the development of advanced batteries is essential. Applicants must have a PhD. The level of the appointment (assistant professor or associate professor) will depend on experience of the candidate.
