Description: The Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago is seeking to add one or more faculty positions at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor levels with a target start date of August 16, 2012.

Qualifications: Qualified candidates must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent in chemical engineering or a closely related field. Candidates with expertise in any relevant research area in chemical engineering will be considered.

Duties: Professors of all ranks in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate classes; conduct research that has the potential to result in publication; obtain external funds to conduct research; advise students at the graduate level; and provide services as appropriate to the department, the university, and the profession.
