Cynthia Chen Named Goldwater Scholar

Cynthia Chen was awarded a Goldwater Scholarship, the premier undergraduate award of its type in mathematics, natural sciences and engineering, in May 2010.

Chen was selected based on academic merit for her work in polymers and drug delivery under Professors Peppas and Freeman.  Candidates were nominated by the faculties of colleges and universities nationwide.
