Dr. Hal Alper inducted into AIMBE
This morning, April 9, 2018, Texas ChE’s Dr. Hal Alper was inducted into theĀ American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering‘s (AIMBE) College of Fellows. Dr. Alper was nominated, reviewed and elected for his pioneering approaches that merge synthetic biology, protein engineering and metabolic engineering to achieve novel phenotypes in eukaryotic cells.
Election to AIMBE’s College of Fellows is among the highest professional distinctions accorded to a medical and biological engineer, and is comprised of the top two percent of medical and biological engineers.
