Research Webinar: Protection From All Coronavirus Strains: Engineering COVID-19’s Spike Protein

Responding to the urgent need for billions of life-saving doses of lifesaving COVID-19 vaccines, a scientific team at The University of Texas at Austin has successfully stabilized key spike protein versions from the coronavirus enabling faster and more stable production and distribution of vaccines worldwide.

Other parts of the spike protein have been identified which could lead to a vaccine that protects against past, current and future highly pathogenic coronaviruses like SARS1, SARS2, and MERS.

Join Texas ChE Professor Jennifer Maynard as she discusses research into vaccine innovation in this unprecedented time.
