Corporate Partnership Opportunities
As the department celebrates 100 years of education, discovery and leadership, we also honor a century-long collaborative relationship with industry. Since 1915, we’ve educated more than 8,000 engineers who have driven the chemical engineering workforce. And today, Texas employs 30 percent of chemical engineers nationwide.
Our strategic partnerships have bridged knowledge and resources across academia and industry to address society’s grand challenges. These relationships have helped cultivate some of the field’s greatest thinkers, leaders and doers—and that’s something to be proud of, to celebrate and to continue. Partnering with Texas ChE offers the unique opportunity to engage with elite engineering talent at one of the world’s top-ranked universities, beneficially located in Texas—the heart of the chemical engineering industry.
Supporting our centennial celebrations will help the department complete its $25 million Challenge for McKetta campaign, a collective investment to advance the program to an even greater level of academic success and research capability. As state funding continues to decrease, corporate partnerships are vital to help the department deliver well-rounded, quality engineering education that transfers from the classroom to the boardroom.
