Industry/University Cooperative Research Center for Next Generation Photovoltaics
Chemical engineering graduate students in the Industry/University Cooperative Research Center program receive financial support to perform cutting-edge photovoltaics research primarily focused on advanced nanomaterials at the Center for Next Generation Photovoltaics (between Colorado State University and The University of Texas at Austin). The center provides students with a collaborative research environment involving academic and industrial researchers that makes use of the state-of-the-art PV processing and characterization facilities at UT Austin. It is funded by the National Science Foundation through the Industry/University Cooperative Research Center (I/UCRC) program and the Center’s associated Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) member companies. For more information about the program, contact Professor Brian Korgel, the center director.
